Would you say this lady is rude or has mental issues?
Shes my dads half sister, when he passed away me and my mom tried to be close to her. Shes 65, never married, has 6 cats, long grey hair, belongs to an ashram.
first weird thing:
she invited us to her house, there was a photo of her guru on every wall, even the bathroom. she told use she has no food in her house and we would have to purchase our own (this is after 20 yrs of my Mom inviting her for dinner and taking her out to dinner)

2nd weird thing:
She writes me an email in all caps, saying "YOU WILL NEVER HAVE MONEY CAUSE U DONT WORK HARD"
at the time i was 26, grad student, with a full time job as a marketing researcher. I emailed her back all my degrees, past jobs, my resume and refrences, I told her i do work hard and will have money due to my hard work, skills, and degrees.
She writes back, saying, Im happy to hear that

3rd weird thing:
I found a cat, she has 6 of them and its her fav topic. I just mentioned if she knew anyone that would want a cat. She wrote back in all CAPS

Sounds kinda crazy to me. Don't try too hard to figure these people out or put them in some kind of category though, becuase you won't find one they fit well into. Just deal with them in a way that works best for you. This includes not dealing with them at all if they are too upsetting to you.

While I would not have my children of that age in a stroller, I would not say it is "nuts". The first thing that comes to mind is that perhaps it was not the mother, but a childcare provider. Most parents are not going to have a quad stroller for their 4-6 year old children. Next thing to come to mind is that perhaps there are some disabilities you were not aware of (not all disabilities are visible). It is also a LOT easier to keep up with one child than it is to keep up with four, and for safety reasons perhaps that is why they use a stroller (especially if it is a daycare provider and/or disabilities are involved). I have four children, ages 12 years-6 months. My older two were not using a stroller at all before they turned 4 years old, and my (just turned) 3 year old rarely uses one anymore- usually, when we go to the aquarium, zoo, etc., where long walks are involved. She will take a break and ride when she is tired. My 6 month old (as of tomorrow) still rides in the sling a lot, but we put him in the stroller some as well. I do think you behaved erratically. It is quite immature to lash out the way you did, even if it was "provoked". Certainly we have all had those sorts of moments, though, when we do not keep our temper in check. I would just try to respond in a more positive manner next time- you are setting an example for your daughter, after all. She was also in the wrong, though- she had no right being judgemental toward you. It is almost 4:30 in the morning...my day is just beginning:)

lol - she sounds like a funny lady.
she might need to socialize more with people so she can get a better grip on reality.

She's sounds mental. I wouldn't even make the effort to be close to her, if I were you.
