a teapot is a great subject for this. use a hexagon shape. all sides are equal. you will need two hexagons the same size. you will need a straight piece of cardboard to go from the first angle from the top to the last angle from the top. connect the hexagons to each side of the strip, bending the strip at each side as you go. the lid needs to be a hexagon to cover the hole at the top, it should be hexagon shaped. mark where the inside of the pot meets the lid hexagon and cut a narrow length of cardboard and stick it to the underneath of the lid to keep the lid on the pot. make the lid handle out of three triangle pieces stuck together and stuck onto top of lid, the handle can also be a triangle or a half hexagon shape, just cut one hexagon the size to fit on the side of the pot. Cut in half.Hollow each piece out, cut out a narrow strip the length of the half hexagon shape from one end to the other, stick to one half hexagon, bending as you go, then stick the other half hexagon to the middle strip of the handle, then attach to the side of the pot. Voila, one hexagon teapot. Don't forget to paint it with acrylic paint and put a nice bit daisy on each side of the pot. modern?? hope it helps and what ever you do you get great marks on it.

I don't know how, but here is how I would figure it out: Go back over what you have learned in class so far. Use the shapes you have learned, to make your teapot from the bottom up.
