This may seem like a strange question, but there's a reason why I'm wondering it. I've noticed that on TV and in movies, the attractiveness (or lack thereof) of a character sometimes depends on his/her hair color. For example, many people would consider Cameron Diaz an attractive blonde. However, her character in "Being John Malkovitch" has mousy hair and is unattractive. Also, many years ago on "All My Children" the same actress who played Natalie, who was an attractive, blonde character, also played Natalie's sister Janet, who was plain and had dark hair. Can hair color sometimes make or break a person's looks?

It is more likely to break rather than make a person's attractiveness. Women keep thinking hair makes women attractive.
Angelina Jolie has plain hair, usually pulled straight back, with no highlights, yet she is very sexy and was voted sexiest woman of the year by Esquire magazine in 2004. It's not her hair! Her puckered lips, big eyes, and very shapely figure have way, way more to do with her attractiveness than her hair. Most guys would hardly notice changes in her hairstyle unless the changes were drastic, like if she went with the Eurythmics look, which would break her looks and detract from her attractiveness.
Demi Moore was very attractive before shaving her head and less so after. She could have long straight hair, wavy hair, or short hair and still look just about as attractive, but shaving her head makes her far less attractive.
Cameron Diaz is cute and has a big smile, but she is not above average attractive, nor was Anna Nicole. Having blonde hair does not make them attractive. This year Esquire finally elected a blonde, Charlize Theron, as a sexiest woman alive. If blonde hair makes women so attractive, wouldn't the majority of the winners be blonde?
Blonde hair appears to be attractive to many females, but not to this guy, and apparently not very often to Esquire magazines' voters.

As has been stated, human beings carry with the developments. maximum folk have been taught that long hair is female, and short hair is masculine. in my opinion i think of maximum women look plenty greater acceptable with long hair and maximum adult males the two look greater acceptable with it short or do exactly no longer look after it while this is long. I shop mine long through fact this is too damn high priced to get cuts each and every of the time and as a woman who's somewhat blokey (yet directly), it may pay for me to no longer *look* like between the adult males besides.

I'm sure it all depeneds on what the other person likes, I'm sure some people like the pink or blue rocker hair and others may prefer a natural look.

I think it really depends on what the individual person who is doing the judging finds attractive. We are all drawn to physical beauty to some degree, but in my opinion to see real beauty you must look past the physical.

It can. Some hair colors wash your face out and make you look pale while others bring out your skin tone and eyes. That's why I've never died my hair, you can't go wrong with the color you were born with!

In most cases, a little bit of a color enhancement makes a person's look.

I think that a person's natural hair color is always the most attractive. It is most suited to that person's coloring. *sm*

Not really. Both blonde hair and brown can look pretty nasty when its not styled well. Its the style that makes or breaks it.

sometimes. like lets say you are a bright blonde color hair and when you die your have lets say black. And lets say you were pale skin. Then i think well because it would make you look dead and even more pale.
