Sims 2 question?

I know that you need the sims 2 to play all the other sims 2 games like Nightlife and Holiday. I own the sims 2 so can i buy the sims 2 holiday and will it work?

Also if i buy sims 2, nightlife, holiday and open for business will they all combine into one game, or will i have to play a specific game. Please this is so confusing help!

Yes, you do play all the games combined - that why its called expansion packs (its expanding onto the game) All you need to know is that you will need to play the disc that is the latest release.
Sims 2 Holiday is just a stuff pack, so you only get new items, and u wont need to use that disc once its installed, unlike nightlife and OFB which have so much extra to it - 2 moe districts in fact.

You do need the Sims 2 game to play the "Expansion packs" such as Nightlife, Castaway, and holiday. They bundle up into the first Sims 2 game so you dont need to pick a specific one.

Our first Sims 2 exchange right into a kit which got here with Sims 2, Nightlife and BonVoyage --- far greater inexpensive as a kit set then paying for the three one after the other. Sims 2 is a chilled and addictive sport!

yes u bascially answerd your first question.. you do infact need the sims 2 game inorder to play all the other sims 2 games like nightlife, holiday and open for usiness etc...
You cant play all the games at once even if you have all of them on your pc.. only one game at a time... lol and no its not confusing at all just common sense...

You must have The Sims 2 for any expansion pack to work. That's the only requirement.

When you install them, install them from oldest to newest. You will need the newest disc to play the game. All of the items from all of the expansion packs will be there, so you don't choose which expansion pack to play; it's like they combine into one game.
