I'd try to catch you before you hit the ground

Well, it would depend on whether or not I knew you, and of course I would check and make sure you were not hurt, but if the answers to those questions were 1) yes and 2) no, then yes I would laugh. I would also expect you to do the same if the situation was reversed.

Pratfalls are funny--if you don't believe me watch some old Three Stooges footage or reruns of early SNL!

Depends on the fall.
1. If it were minor and a simple trip, I'm sure I would chuckle to myself (so you would not hear it and be even more embarrassed) and help you up.

2. If it was a bad fall and you ended up injured, of course i would not laugh and help if I could.

3. If you were some punk kid causing trouble and doing something you probably weren't supposed to be doing and ended up falling, I would laugh and made sure you saw me laughing at you (unless you serioulsy injured yourself, then again I would probably just help if I could).

I think I'd try to laugh with you, not at you! And make sure you were ok, of course.

I fall all the time. It's so embarrassing. Usually I just want people to pretend they didn't see anything, even if they did. I suppose that would be the right thing to do, so long as you obviously weren't hurt.

I would laugh after. I would help you up first, then walk away laughing in my head until I had the opportunity to laugh out loud. Honestly, I think its a natural reaction to laugh when someone falls or trips.

No. I'd help you up, because, frankly, I would like someone to do the same if it were me who had fallen and I don't find it necessary to laugh at another's falls. I'm not a mean person, so why do something that would be that mean?

No, I'd ask if you were okay and offer to help you get up. I fell on some stairs recently and EVERYONE wanted to know if I was okay and help me up. I must be getting old, because when I was younger that NEVER happened. I'm 57.

Nooo...
Falling is a totally regular and natural action. Fruit fell off the trees, stars fell of the sky...

Depends, if you fell because you were doing something funny or stupid I'd laugh, if you fell by accident I'd ask if your OK and help you up.

If you did not get hurt but did a spectacular fall I would probably fall over laughing, and you should laugh too.
If you were hurt I would try to help you.
