And... tthere is a huge pot of pinto beans with ham hocks, a pitcher of fresh sweet tea... (decaf with splenda), apple pie for later, and just maybe a tad of ice cream! If you're real nice, I migh fix you a pot of coffee too.... (decaf) LOL

Somebody really doesn't know what pinto beans are? Well honey half the world where I grew up lived on pinto beans, the other half lived on butter beans. FANTASTICAL!!

Here I come with fork and spoon and a big quart of fresh butter milk, just in case in corn bread is left over, the beans n ham hocks don't have a chance. thanks so much for the invite. Haven't had much of an appetite lately, sick for almost 2 weeks.

That's me pulling in the driveway now. My mom always makes me a big pot of pintos when I go home. That apple pie and decaf sounds great too! Thanks!

You are making my mouth water. I live in England and I have never tasted corn bread, love to have the recipe. When I watch movies and see them eating it, makes me want some.

you said the magic word CORNBREAD,i will be their in a flash,with a menu like that you gotta be some where here in the south.just leave the ham out of my bean portion,every thng else sounds delicious.
