I have polycystic ovarian disease, and im overweight. My boyfriend and i aretrying to have a child. Just wondering if anyone out there was able to concieve with pocd?

all the time it might be slightly harder but there are plenty of meds out there for us the will do the trick for women with pcos they recomend you try about a year b4 seeking those meds i have pcos and i will be starting clomid next month very excited good luck

weight is not always an issue there are plenty of women that are not overweight with pcos

I have PCOS. It took me 4-1/2 years to conceive. I never ovulate on my own and Clomid didn't make me ovulate either (neither did Metformin for that matter). But injectables (Gonal-F) did make me ovulate and I also had an IUI. I conceived as a result of this treatment in May and am due in February. Good luck to you!

My friend had PCOS and lost weight per her doctor's orders. When she lost about 50lbs she got pregnant naturally.
