ok so first off you probably wont get back to exactley the same as you were before your pregnancy.
During your pregnancy try to control your weight gain as much as you can with light/moderate exercise and healthy eating.
After bubs is born women that breast feed get back to their pre pregnancy shape faster. so id say do that keep eating health and light exercise. remember not to lose weight to fast or your skin will not shrink back and you will end up with heaps of stretch marks and really saggy skin.
another thing you could do is talk to a personal trainer at a gym or something because they will tailor a plan to suit you.
good luck and i hope i helped a wee bit

Sorry to tell you this but you may never get your nice belly back! Be prepared for the big flabby gut after the baby is born. It will look like a deflated balloon for a while! It will take at least 6 months to start to look normal again. You might never get rid of the ponch without going under the knife! Don't be so vain, there are more important things in life than having a belly ring! I hate how people are so self absorbed and shallow!! Don't worry about it, just do your best and enjoy being a Mom! Life is too short!

I was the same way as you right before I found out I was pregnantthe first time. I did not show until later bacause I had very flat and strong abs. After I had my son, I had a little belly but after about 1 month when my uterus went back to regular size I had a very small belly that was only noticable by myself. Wiat at least 6 weeks to recover completly and begin a workout routine to get your abs back in shape. Start out slow at first. If your athletic which it sounds like you are you should probably swing back into shape in no time that is if you also eat properly throughout your pregnancy. Make sure you receive adequate nutrients for your growing baby but do not over indulge becasue that will cause you to gain alot of etra weight that will be harder to burn of after your pregnancy. With my 1st pregnancy I gained between 25-30 and had a very healthy 7 1/2 lb boy. I lost all my pregnancy weight by the 1st week after the delivery. Hope all works out well and good luck with your new little one!

Stretch marks will never go away, But some people believe that merderma and or coca butter help to prevent them.
I have a belly ring, I kept it in until I started getting a slight bump then I took it out, I have only put it back in every 2 weeks to make sure it doesnt close but dont keep it in, its too easy for it to tear or get stuck.
As far as the six pack, eat healthy, remember that you only need to eat 300 extra calories to keep baby healthy. and remember that it took 9 monthes for you to grow, it should take about 9 monthes to loose everything, some people get the six pack back, some never do, it has alot to do with your genetics and how much you work out.

I don't know about getting your figure back completely. Sometimes it's impossible to go back to your exact pre-pregnancy figure. As far as stretch marks, once they are there they are pretty permanent. There are a few procedure that can be done to minimize the appearance but it is pretty much a forever scar, you can look forward to the fact that they fade and are pretty hard to see after a while. All you need to do is eat a healthy well-balanced diet and stay active and you should have minimal body changes. There will be some changes more than likely though. After your baby is there, you will realize the small changes were worth it.

You are where I was. AT that point I was gaining a pound a week too. I am 30 weeks and have already gained 35. My doc though isn't worried because my sugar test was near perfect....101...he said that was a level as if I was fasting, and my blood pressure is excellent. So, he's not worried. This is what he said. Lisa, as long as your getting excersize and eating right , I am not going to worry about this weight gain. You are just one of those woman that gains more than others. I am 5'4 too, so I feel your pain. If you are getting excersize and eating correctly, then you can't really help it, so dont freak out. If you are eating badly, then I would try to eat a little more healthy. I will tell you however, dont' feel bad, for so long all I heard were stories of women who gained so little, and I specifically had to search out those that gained more to feel more "normal".

First of all to avoid all the above, don't get pregnant. If you knew how to keep in shape, then you should know how to get back in shape. I dont think that using lotion all the time will prevent stretch marks, but you can sure try it. Also don't diet while pregnant there is a certain amount of protien and sodium and carbs that you are supposed to be getting to keep you and that baby healthy. Its okay to gain weight just don't go eat a ton of junk food, and use the excuse of being prego.

Yeah I had a firm stomach and belly ring too...I'm now nine months pregnant with a few stretch marks and a belly the size of a watermelon. I was concerned about my apperance too...but there is nothing that can be done about it. Like the first answerer said, If you are that concerned adoption is the option. Motherhood is about sacrifices and they all begin very early.

Well you aren't going to be able to prevent stretch marks. If your mother had them, chances are you're going to get them. It's hereditary, you know. Just make sure you keep a good lotion( cocoa butter lasts longer than others) on your skin at least twice a day. As far as getting back to your rock hard body, the best advice is to eat healthy and don't gain your weight too rapidly. If you can just enough you should have no problem losing it after the little one gets here.

Eat healthfully and don't use pregnancy as an excuse to overeat. Keep doing exercise -- yoga, pilates, walking, swimming are great while you're pregnant. Breastfeed to burn even more calories after you have the baby. Start working out once your doctor clears you to exercise after delivery. It's normal to want to know that you can get your body back after the dramatic changes of pregnancy. Good luck.
