John Brady, nice insult but thats not why i'm here. what the hell is tony romo doing on a list of people like this? Staubach was a ledgend before he even left Navy. Bradshaw won four superbowls with the steelers. Unitas invented quarterbacking as we know it. Montana started a 49ers dynasty that lasted over a decade. Tom (John as you stupidly called him) Brady already has three superbowl wins to his name and has a long way to go. And you decide to throw Tony Romo in with this group? What the hell has Tony Romo ever accomplished in this league that vaults him into the same level as these other qbs? he hasnt even played a full football season in his career yet? Seriously, i feel like im taking crazy pills here. He has yet to win a playoff game (by his own doing by the way) and isnt even finished with his first full year as starting qb and you are comparing him with this group?!?! Ok, i think ive calmed down......wait, nope. TONY ROMO?!?!?! YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! ok, there.

Brett Farve, Johnny Unitas, or Tony Romo

Matt Stafford appeared good the 1st year or so. yet a quarterback has to stay healthful in the event that they desire to alter right into a famous person in the NFL. whilst all of them started out he appeared the final. Mark Sanchez has carried out the main. yet he has had the final team of the three to paintings with. Stafford had the worst to paintings with. Sanchez appeared the better of the three final year. in keeping with how they are playing now, Freeman seems the final. he's stepped forward as a quarterback and curiously like he continues to be going to develop much greater. in the long-term, he will probable be the better of the three. the guy has athleticism and ability. He variety of jogs my memory a sprint of Michael Vick.

It hurts me to say this (Bears Fan), but Farve. Hands down the best player I have seen. He also makes it look fun, like he is still a little kid back there throwing the ball around in a pick up game. He plays plays football like it is a game, not a high pressure job where if he makes a mistake it is the end of the world. Not to mention his rocket arm and unmatched toughness. Others on this list maybe better, but if it is my team the guy I like to watch the most is Farve.
Manning is too much of a whiner if things go wrong, Brady is the same way. If they throw a pick or get sacked (rare but it happens) they are complaining and looking to blame somebody else. If Farve screws up he just undoes the chin strap walks over to whoever messed up, talks to him and moves on.

I'm assuming you mean Tom Brady?

And why is Tony Romo on that list? He has done nothing to even merit being mentioned among those guys. That's ridiculous.

To answer your question, it depends upon what era your team is from. You can't compare QB's across eras. Each was at or right near the top of the QB's from his era, and the game has evolved and rules have changed so much that taking one from a different era would definitely not guarantee success.

I'll take Brady. This year he is playing with talented WRs like Manning has had his whole career and hes going to beat Mannings record. He has 3 Super Bowls, 4 after this year and is still young.

Any one of these names mentioned had exceptional talent. Another thing they all had or now have in common was a strong offensive line which protected them and ends and backs who had sure hands. Last year ,Tom Brady had a mediocre front line and was better than an average QB. This year, with an improved defense, sure handed ends and backs, and great blockers his stats show the difference. With that said I am still partial to Joe Montana.
