The Western Conference is stronger
So far this year, the Western Conference has won 12 of 21 games against the east (57%)
Last year the Western Conference won 87 of 150 games against the East (almost 60%)
Two years ago, the Western Conference won 81 of 150 games against the East (over 50%)

Since the Conferences were divided into Eastern and Western in the 1993-94 season, Western Conference has won 7 cups and the Eastern Conference has won 6. So, I say it's time for the Eastern Conference too kick some tail and make it even.......I know a lot of people are going to hate me now, but whatever. Take my opinion lightly.

I have to give it to the west, it always seems that there top 8 in clinching the playoffs are alot better then Eastern Conferences top 8.

Eastern. With teams like the Sens, Carolina and several other good teams ... The West does have the Wings (Which IMHO should be in the East)

While the East may have more scoring, the West has much stronger defensemen and goalies. The East may win the all star game, but that is an exhibition. If it were a game that meant something; the West would surely win. Too much depth and experience.

I think the West is generally stronger with some very competitive teams...I'd rather watch the west vs. west games, as they resemble playoff hockey. Last nights Van- Edm. 0-0 was a great game. Didn't need a lot of scoring, too bad it was such a late game for us hockey fans in Bobcaygeon.

The west is physically stronger then the east, but i think the east has a little more talent, and speed, and young guns, BUT That being said, the west uses their size and fighting ability, to win games against the east.
