Sorry I didn't include enough details. He lives in Alaska. I was hoping someone might know how long he could be kept in jail if he is convicted. He is out on bail right now after being in for a day. He did have to turn over his guns to the police and will go to court later this month.

"Stalking" is a crime that is defined by the language of the actual statute. To know what is included in "Stalking II" you'd need to look up the language of the actual law.

Since you didn't tell us even what country - let alone what State or Province - you're in, no-one can even guess what your government means by it.

Thi means that the person that he was following around felt so threatened, they had to get help. Ths is a felony and if he has been charged, there is probably enough evidence to covict him. I am not sure the amount of time he may have to do. It is up to the DA, and the judge.
