Me. Let the man be, if you had loads of money sitting on you're table, ($25,000,000 - $35,000,000) you would try to make the most of it as well.

Yes, I agree with you. People are rather dense about the A-Rod stuff. The owners are the people who pay these guys. It isn't as if baseball will cease if A-Rod doesn't play. So he can't muscle the money out of the owners -- they have to offer it. And they do. Yes, there IS a problem with a society that will pay sports figures more than lottery winners get and yet let firemen, servicemen, and cops have to work 2 jobs. That problem is with the owners. Remember -- baseball owners have throughout history been pretty rotten guys. It's still the same. If you blame A-Rod, you have only thought about 1/4 of the problem.
