Try googleing Mama Gena and reading that book. Also- "The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex" is very good. Be forgiving if he is distracted with work and other things. Be coy and interesting by having something to talk about other than the broken garbage disposal or your day at work. Make sure you are doing three things a day that are just for you so that you feel good about yourself, for yourself, and aren't putting the burden on him to make you feel good. Allow him to take care of you (open doors, lift heavy things) and reinforce his "manliness" but don't become a needy, clingy wife.
Reinforce it when he gives you small gifts (like an unexpected hug) and always accept his affection. That will yield more affection. Men see sex as affection, so try not to turn him down for the sake of turning him down. Look on yahoo groups, there are some great pro-marriage lists.

I am guessing that your question is how do you get your husband to be more romantic without you giving him hints. If that is the case, the answer is simple, you can't. Your husband is not a mindreader, he did not become a clairvoyant when he said "I do". The way to keep a marriage on the right track is to talk, listen, communicate, write each other notes, send each other text messages, talk some more, communicate, communicate!!! That way you both know what is going on, instead of having to play guessing games.

Here's the problem. Guys don't pick up on hints, and they certainly don't read minds. He'll just think you're nagging. So the solution is... do unto him what you want him to do unto you. If you want him to be romantic and affectionate, be romantic and affectionate to him first. Surprise him in ways that you know he'll enjoy (that's between you two). That's the only way to get a guy to respond. In the heat of the moment, you can "casually" tell him things that you'd like him to do for you, and how "appreciative" you'll be. Trust me, it'll work.

Don't hint...just tell him. You can dress in lingerie and crawl all over him if you want, but it won't make HIM any more affectionate or romantic toward YOU because you're the one doing all the work. Be honest with him about what you need and want from him, or you'll never get the results you want.

Why don't you try and initiate romance with him? Have a nice dinner, long bath or great sex when you start it. Men sometimes get to feeling like they have to always be the starters so make it new for him and he might return the favor.
