ok, he's 55, just wanna know, what i can do to liven this guy up! I like to joke around every now and than, he's to serious, everything seems like it's by the book! other than that we have a wole lot in common, and talk all the time, get along great.

You have to find some material that you both find comical. How about Rodney Dangerfield? Do you like wine? Maybe if you got him loosened up a bit, he would be more conducive to humor. Steve Martin is very funny to a lot of people. They both have videos out and you can even view some on line. How about a good joke book? Maybe if you are out shopping, you could go to a book store, and find a book you would both enjoy. Good luck.

I know what you mean some people just don't get it.
My wife thinks because I joke around I am immature.
Some people just see everything as serious.Check which movies they are in to or TV shows . They watch the dramas not the comedies.

try talkin to him bout when he was young,get intrested in his personal little tyhings that seems to make him want to talk,he'll loosen up,but don't press him,keep talkin he'll come around
