That is why it is crazy for people to put the Packers ahead of the Cowboys in the NFC power rankings. Favre is great, but there is no ground attack.
That will catch up to them when it turns really cold and receivers aren't able to catch well!

It does make the Packers look like a team that could make a deep run in the playoffs. Let's face it, the offensive line is what makes the vast majority of running backs look good. They played very well last week and if they continue to open holes the ground game will be successful. Barry Sanders comes to mind as a good example of the rare back who can gain yards without a great o-line, but there haven't been too many like him.

he had 113 or something like that, but he really on had 2 bigish runs that made 65 of the yards. take away those two flukes and he had an average GB. running back game.

Wait till Brett has a bad game, then they will realize that they have no running game to fall back on. It's only a matter of time...

I guess they are just so excited about seeing any semblance of a running game that they got carried away with themselves. For me, I want to see it week-in and week-out.

You gotta start somewhere. He's had two 100 yard + games in a row I think and...talent doesn't just disappear. If you're talented, you're talented. It's better then it was.

I agree. The only reason they were able to run is because defenses are trying so hard to stop Favre.

Its because he did all that running on the 3rd best rushing defense.

He's done it twice in 3 trys. I'd call that successful.
