I am unemployed, he stole my ID, and no one will hire me without my ID? What can I do? I had even called my family, and they won't help me. Please, no rude nor subtle comments. I will report if there is any verbal abuse.

I've tried domestic violence shelters, too. 20 of them.

The police won't help neither. He's had me assaulted twice and harrass multiply in a one month period, and the police don't seem to care.
I don't mean to make things seem impossible, but i've tried almost every avenue.

I'd talk to the police to report the theft.
I'd contact the agency that gave me the ID and request a new one (DMV, Social Security, etc).
I'd ask the cops for a referral to a women's shelter, and talk to the counselors there.
I'd find a church and ask the priest/pastor about social services there.

There's obviously another side to this story if your own family won't help you, even if it's just a place to crash for the night or a few bucks for food.

File a police report... abuse of any kind is never OK....
this will get something on paper documenting the abuse.
File an order of protection.... (you need a police report first)

Then go and get your ID replaced.
Where there's a will there's a way..... it will not get better.
Get out while you're still breathing!

If your family and the police won't help you and you say you are pregnant, maybe some sort of church group would help you. I am surprised that the women shelter doesn't help. You sound like you have just the situation that they are designed for. Good luck.

First of all you need to go to the police right away and get a restraining order. Then you need to go to the DMV and get yourself a new ID. Stay strong and don't let him try and control you anymore.

Hi there, I have to agree with everyone else, call the cops, and also call woman's refuge. Look in the phone book under emergencies. You deserve so much better....... and you've already started that process.
Peace.
