You can't go wrong with a classic boot leg.

You can go for what you feel comfortable in. I'd say go for "comfort-fit" or "regular" fit jeans as they work with a variety of outfits and don't look like you're trying too hard to be trendy.
Diesel and Ted Baker do the best ones in my opinion. There is a good range at Littlewoods Direct -

Alternatively if you are relatively slim and feeling a little bolder then skinny jeans can still look good on more mature people (Simon Le Bon is nearly 50 and he looks cool in them).

Whats 50 ? that is no age..I am in my eighties and I like smart clothes. I wear Jeans, but smart ones , especially when on vacation. Do not start wearing frumpy clothes, like some people do...they think its expected of them...no way..!! keep up with Fashion for the smarter woman, not silly stuff.. and if you shop carefully you will find nice things to wear including jeans, and with a nice top they are great.

Depends on what you want to relay with your jeans. We can tell each others' basic age range, political leanings, social position, etc., from the type of jeans & the way they fit. So whatever you're comfortable in, or the same kind you've been wearing for 50 years.

Depends on what style you like yourself and what you are comfortable in. And also if you are a guy or girl. Also the size of your belly. Nothing worse than a big belly and drainpipe jeans. ! Age should not be an issue when buying jeans. They are ageless. (at least I hope they are cause I intend to be wearing them till I die. )

Go and buy a nice pair of Diesel jeans, depends on your height what width suits. Try them on in the shop and ask the assistants what you look best in.

Age doesn't help. Need to know what you look like, body type & knowing if your male or female would sure help. You should provide a picture. As for myself, I am over 40 and I can wear low rise jeans that 20 year olds wear cause I don't look my age and I have a great body type.

Just buy whatever jeans you are comfortable in! Ones that make you feel like you, and not like you are trying to be something you are not! It's like buying a wooly jumper for the beach in summer!? you would not be comfortabe and it wont look good! x

Just because you are 50 doesn't mean you have to dress like it. Wear the same stuff you've always worn. Shoot I'm 52 and don't dress like I'm ready for the old folks home.
