Publicly? Easy to understand by code or drug/dose so you could cost compare, so they can't charge more for some groups than they do for others (as they do now)?
Some providers overcharge uninsureds because they swing deals with insurance companies, for example.
Some providers also try to squeeze in as many treatment codes as possible, to the point of ridiculousness, and would you like to compare what they are actually charging for, too?

Yes, I would.
However, most people jsut don't care because they don't have to pay it anyway - their insurance company pays it and they are limited to who their insurance will pay for.

Most people pay by insurance so cash price means nothing. The mark up of prescription drugs by the pharmacy is relatively low, no more than 10%. The big mark-up was done by the manufacturer. The deals the insurance companies make are with the manufacturer, not the pharmacy. The pharmacy is reimbursed the full cash price.
