My bad! It is Super Mario 3! Where can I find one of those floating white blocks? Any tips on world 5-8?

There isn't a bear suit in Super Mario 2. If you mean Super Mario 3 on the other hand...The takooni suit (which looks like a bear) can fly like the leaf power-up, it also can tail smash like the leaf power-up. In addition to those two powers, a command (down+B I THINK) turns you into a statue temporarily. You are invincible as a statue, but don't hurt enemies back.

The biggest Easter-eggs of the game are the comments the Kings make if you manage to complete an airship level in one of the suits. Their comments change completely if you can pull it off.

Also, if you crouch for 5 seconds on a white suspended block, you will fall into a part of the stage behind the background, and can collect a flute to skip ahead to other worlds. (There are a grand total of three of those blocks in the game I believe.)

PacMan/Ms PacMan, Frogger, Frogs and Flies, Donkey Kong, Pole Position, Q-Bert, Tetris (lately I'm addicted to the Facebook version)... as far as games that are comparatively recent, I'd say Virtua Fighter (combat game) and Virtua Striker (soccer game). I didn't include the OG of video games, Pong, in the list since I associate that with the not-especially-heartbreaking deprivation of wanting to play it when I was a little kid in the seventies (yes, I'm quite possibly the oldest person who responded) and not getting the chance since all the grown-ups were shamelessly hogging it! EDIT: Just out of curiosity: was anybody else here born prior to Watergate, or am I the lone elder statesman in that category? EDIT 2: Late 71 here. You have a great holiday too Opiner! EDIT 3: Mucky Pup, I'm less than a year from joining you in the big four-oh club, then.
