she was a total Jerk. it was so pety and over nothing. she justs quit smoking and i think she thinks she can take her frustrations out on me. I remained calm. Then the top person called me from the Corporate Office and said not to worry, that they love me and she is a ______ anyone ever have troubles like that and want to explode on the person...and you remain calm
but the hair on your neck is on fire???????

Oh yes!!!!!!!!!! Can I relate..she is a B!!!!! But the best way to drive a miserable person crazy...is be pleasant...and remember you r important...u will not be replaced because of a person ho really should not be a manager. A manager must keep his or her cool, and seperate personal from business. Sounds like her quitting smoking..is first of all personal..and she needs to be able to handle her management position or be replaced. A manager should make her team feel good...they are much more relaxed and productive!!!!!!!
If she has a problem it should be addressed in private and best be for a real business reason.

Ive had moments like that, and I stay calm in most cases, but if the person is being a complete idiot and is mistreating me, I cant hold back. Im gonna let them have it...theyll think twice before doing it to me again. Its her quitting smoking that did it...which is still no excuse.. As long as the head ppl dont want you to worry, I wouldnt let anything she said bother you. You were the bigger person.*

You've got to roll with the punches. It's deplorable that she treated you in such a bad manner. But, remember, she is trying to overcome a very nasty addiction.
