I have been reading through some answers and questions on here and quite a bit of people are quite anxious for something bad to happen to the US and they want it to fall. Quit frankly what is the big deal? Yes America does make mistakes and has caused problems in the world, but then again so has every major empire EVER. The mongols killed 200,000 people when they conquered one city, the Romans supressed thousands across the Mediterranean.
As far as i can tell the US has helped out many nations in there time of need, and yes we do make mistakes but so what? And if you think America falling will be great then go ahead and think that. The world economy will collapse with America because America imports and exports millions, and with its economy in ruins its going to cause a ripple effect across the world (ie china gets massive amounts of business from us companies). So my question is why do people have so much hate and how will the world be better without America?

Great question. When you come up with the answer, let me know. I have been wondering the same thing for years. The thing people don't realize is that every country has their problems. Every couontry has made mistakes, not just America. I wouldn't go so far as to say if America falls, then the world economy will collapse; remember, the stock market crashed a long time ago, and we got through that. It would be extremely difficult to get through something like that in this day and age, but I wouldn't say it would be impossible.
But I definitly agree with what your saying.

It's called envy I mean most countries don't have what we have. In the USA we have many opertunites other countries do not have. When people feel jealous well it breeds hate think of the times in your life you have been jealous of someone and how much hate brewed from that green eyed monster. I don't think the world will be better without the USA they will be worse. However sometimes we can come off a little pompous maybe if we tuned down our we are better then everyone else attitudes they may feel a little less hate but I doubt it.

Its the condescending attitude that the US thinks they are better then everyone else. (and have no problem making that very very clear).
In regards to the US economy; were it to collapse it would not be overnight, it would be over a decade or so, and the rest of the world would suffer for it, but no doubt recover...
Oh and as for freedoms; the US is more censored than most countries in Europe.

As far as I can tell, the haters hate US because of the percentage of the worlds resources that we consume. People are sometimes hungry while we are clocking in with the biggest waistlines in the world. Stuff like that isn't winning the popularity contest.

You hit the nail right on the head.We are a country that is in debt right now and every country that hates us knows this.We have put ourselves in a bad position. no other country in world has given as much to help others( friends or enemies). just look how we are being invaded by illegals
