Since the phone is in her name and tied to her credit rating (not to mention her social security number) she can get any information she wants about that phone's services from the phone company. They are required to provide it upon request. I dont think any company records every single text sent from every phone. That would take up an enormous amount of space. But I'm positive that there is a way she can have them monitor/record your phone's service if she wanted them to. She can also have any amount of numbers blocked from the phone if she wants. It is legally her phone, even though you might be the primary user. So i would either get my own phone plan, or let that person be. If your parents are just completely over protecting, and their reasons are NOT justified (seriously now), then just use email.

If I were you i wouldnt text people you aren't supposed to on your phone that your mom pays for. The cell phone company i used to work for said it couldn't be done, however I have seen cases in court where they have them printed off...so I would assume theres a way. Plus they have those devices that can see everything you do on your phone if you mom wants to pay the money for it.

Why are you texting a number your mother has banned you from?
Please do not use text, when asking a question.
Have you got something to hide?
