Let's say you and your best friend are out one night. You're driving and your friend tells you to stop at the convenience store. When you ask why, he/she says they are running in to get something for the two of you.

2 minutes later, your friend RUNS back out to the car and tells you to GET THE F**K OUTTA HERE! You speed off, and your friend pulls out a bag full of money. When you two get home, he/she counts it out and gives you half. 2 days later the police show up and arrest you because they have your car on surveillance. when you get to the station, they say, LISTEN, WE KNOW YOU DIDN'T DO IT, BUT IF YOU DON'T TELL US WHO DID, YOU'RE GOING DOWN FOR THIS.

what do you do?

Well, if the person you was with didn't care to get you in that situation she obviously isn't your friend. I don't really know what I would do, I would feel really bad for getting her in trouble, but you gotta do what you gotta do. But sometimes you have to sacrifice for others too. Not sure....

Smart thing to do is be honest and tell what you know. Why get into trouble that someone else brought on you? Things have a way of coming back to haunt you.

I'd snitch on my friend. I'm not going down for their stupidity. What kind of friend puts you in that situation in the first place? For that, I think it wouldn't be anymore disloyal to rat on them.

Tell the police who my friend is. If I would tell on a stranger for the same thing, why not tell on a friend who is just as guilty?

I'd ask for a lawyer. I would probably sing like a canary, but I wouldn't trust the cops to treat me fair after I cooperated.

I never would have accepted the money in the first place.

I would have advised my friend to return the money and turn himself in.

Then I would have called the police and offered my side of the story.

Thats really up to you...It depends on how close that friend is to you and how bad your willing to keep it a secret, are you willing to go to juvy/ jail? if she or he was a true friend they wouldn't let you take the fall anyways.....

Sing like a canary. No real friend would have put you in such a situation in the first place.
