First, try starting you PS3 without a disk. Are you getting the PS3 menu? If not, check your cables and make sure they are properly connected.

If so, check your disk. Is it a legitimiate, undamaged, PS3 disk? If so, load it in the system with it already running and see what it tells you.

Well i suggest you should either use your warranty on your PS3 or you should return your PS3 games.

check that all the connections are in properly if its not that check the disc for any scratches unless like most new consoles have faults sometimes
