It all started Monday when this girl told me she liked me. I actually do like her a lot but I just found out today she's only 12, I thought she was 14 all along. I really do care about her and I feel guilty about not making sure before I asked her out. What should I do now?

I wouldn't even have sex with her if she was 14. I'm not really attracted to her in that way but she is a really cool person.

The same thing happened with one of my friends and her. He had no idea she was that young and that's why they broke up. If I would have known she was 12 I never would have gone this far.

I have been in that position where I went with someone older than me, I can say it wont be healthy for the girl because you will probably be her first (everything maybe) and however the relationship turn out she possibly will never get over the pain. Just please dont have sex with her, because this will mess her up for sure, women are emoitional creatures ya know

While as an adult I find this somewhat disturbing, when I was 13 there was an 18 year old after me.
My mother knew, but she and my father are 7 years a part so she thought that was marriage material.
I just kept making excuses when he'd call -- because at 18, you know he had a MAN's body and I still pretty much had a little girl's body.

Umm, that's about two shakes shy of statutory buddy, I would leave it alone, she is too young, she doesn't has no concept of what liking a boy is about.
UPDATE: Do you not think to ask the ages of these girls? Does the immaturity and fact they most likely are carrying around Hannah Montana folders and bratz back packs not giving you the clue?
