just staring at you, would you speak to it, and what would you say.

i see them allot in my house and i try to talk to them but some times they get mad and scream or cry or even just fade away i am use to this it don't bother me at all i am sure they me no harm cause if this was the case they would have done it already i have lived in this house for 40 years the house is over 100 years old and has a lot to tell if only they would i know for sure 1 of the spirits is a young child a boy his name is Cody he will at times talk to me but he is afraid of the big man who chaises him also another spirit the big man likes to scare my cats the dog hides when he is around as well but he has never showed him self to me yet

I don't know whether you are joking or not, but I originally come from a culture that has a lot of respect for the 'people of yesterday'. Ghost/ spirits/ souls return or linger in our space because often they have unfinished business. Very much like the film 'The Others'. I hope it is a nice ghost though!

Yes I would speak to the ghost.

I would ask why it was here and if it had a message for me or someone else.

If the message was for someone else I would pass it on for the ghost. Then the ghost would be able to 'Cross Over'.

That would depend on what the ghost looked like. If it looked like a white sheet, well what do you say to that? But if it looked like a human, well then it would depend on whether or not you knew the ghost. I think I would certainly say something. Even if it was "Oh My...."

It's already happened to me. I woke up to a ghost staring me down. I just looked at it, told him "I'm too tired for this," and rolled over and went back to sleep.

You wouldn't be able to speak to it because you would be too busy working out what it is and why it's there.

Usually if you see something like that then the moment you look away and look back again it's usually gone.

I've had that happen. I would either just ignore it, or tell it that I would be out of its way momentarily and then it could have the room to itself. Honestly, that's the way I responded and I never had any problems with it.

I imagine that would depend on the Ghost...

ie. Hot sexy woman or monstrous ectoplasm dripping horror...
