You can be a model at 12, but it wont be like a runway model. Just remember, the only agencies that will do you any good are in big cities. Until then, check out these links to help you prim up for your future.

i have been a model since i was 1..
it isnt as good as it seems and it is hard work, but its better to get into in round about your age or younger because thats what starts off your career!
i've gone through my fair share of agents so if you email me your town/city or tell me any agents you have in mind ill tell you if i have experienced them or not, just dont be dissapointed if you dont get work straight away, i get work, then i dont for another 6 months, then i can get 2 or 3 pieces then none for 8 months, but thats nothing to be upset about!

EDIT: dont let anyone tell you you dont have a chance, you can do anything if you work hard enough, and also, what ever you do DONT pay to join an agency, their in it for the money and will do nothing but rip you off

Where do you live. Take modeling lessons and do some local jobs, then go to a bigger agency when you get older and can travel more.
