I got Quest DSL and hooked it up through a wired router to my computers. The only problem is that I can't access Yahoo (news, e-mail, questions) anymore. Most everything else is fine. I'm at the public library now, which is why I can ask this question. So, if you have Quest DSL, please tell me, then I'll know it is probably my router or my modem-router combo.

I have Qwest DSL with an Actiontec gateway that serves as both an ADSL modem and as a firewall router. I have no trouble at all connecting to Yahoo for mail, news, etc.

I have had some very minor troubles with Yahoo at work, but it's isolated to Internet Explorer. You might want to try Firefox instead of IE to see is that helps. If you're already using Firefox, you should contact Qwest technical support. I have MSN as my ISP through Qwest, so I sometimes have to try both of them to get to the bottom of any difficulties, and getting through to the right person can be a pain in the neck.

Good luck!

Do you have the dsl box with the built in access point. Anyways this qwest box by default I think has dhcp enabled so you need to disable it in your other router.

Also to check if this is the problem you can hook your network cable from the qwest box straight to just one of the computers and if you have internet then there is a conflict between the qwest box and your router which my suggestion up above should fix
