i was talking with my friend the other day and she told me that if i was to swallow my boyfriends sperm i would get pregnant!!! is this true and should i spit?

Wow. I'm really going to sound cranky with this answer:

Your friend is not doing you favors by not telling you the truth. Either she is a know-it-all who really doesn't know much or she is trying to keep you from having oral sex by scaring you. There are plenty of reasons to be afraid of having unprotected oral sex with someone you don't intend to remain faithful to or don't expect to have been faithful to you, but pregnancy isn't one of them.

If you do not understand the reproductive system, you are probably not prepared to deal with the consequences of having sex, and you should abstain even from oral sex.

If you can not talk to your boyfriend about the consequences of the two of you having sex, the two of you are not ready to be intimate.

When, one day in the future, you are ready to have sex generally and oral sex particularly, spitting or swallowing will be your own choice without anyone guiding you. You'll know which gives you pleasure at the time. It isn't rocket science, and you will be fine. Relax and give yourself time to grow up.

OMG your friend is super uber ignorant and you are even more to believe this. If you have to ask if this is true you shouldn't be having sex. It is not true,. sperm needs to go all the way up your uterus to find the egg. Jeez, this is taught in biology 101. Stop having sex! unless you wanna become a mom really soon...I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of months you appear with a "could I be pg " question.

No that's not true. I think they were just trying to scare you. Whether you spit or swallow you will not get pregnant, so it's your personal decision to do so.

There is no way to get pregnant by ingesting sperm. The sperm could not come in contact with your egg.

The only way for you to get pregnant is to have vaginal sex. However, with the thinking of you and your friend, you both seem too immature to have sex.
