I have a few different prints of fabric at home. I am wanting to cut out the part of the prints I want. I would like to make them into a patch so I can spice up some of my kids clothes with them. I am wondering what I will need to turn the fabric into an iron on patch? Will I be able to get this or these items at Walmart? Please help me. Not sure if I said it or not but I am wanting them to be iron on patches.

There is a transparent tape you can put between the patch and the material and heat it with an iron to fuse it together. As far a Wal-mart is concerned here in the area of Maryland and West Virginia are concerned they are eliminating the fabric portion of the store.

It's been a long time since I've used it, but at Walmart and other fabric stores (Walmart is cheapest) get some stuff called Stitch Witchery. It is an iron on bonding material. You iron it on the wrong side of fabric, then peel off a papery like backing material and then iron it on your garment. After you bond it to your fabric, and before you bond it to your garment, you can cut out the design parts you want with scissors. Then bond it to your garment. It also washes well. Works great! If the name is not correct that I gave you, ask the salesperson in fabrics for it. Explain what it does and she will help you find it.

There's this stuff called Wonder Under. You can buy it where they sell fabric. You iron it to the back of the fabric, cut out what you want, peel off the paper backing and iron it down onto a tee shirt or something. WalMart will most likely have it.....ask the nice ladies who cut fabric to show you what they have. I've used it on numerous occasions and it really works well.

Those are both brand names of fusible webbing. All fabric stores have it. Iron the first side onto the back of the fabric before you cut your patch, and your cutting will be more precise. Have fun!
