Excellent point! Honestly, I knew that. Iran has a young population. I believe %70 percent are below the age 0f 35. The Iranians are very pro-American.

It makes some sense. Al Qaeda is a Sunni organization, though they don't hate Iran as much as they do the US, and Iran doesn't hate them as much as the US, they do still hate eachother.
Actually, there was a tremendous outpouring of support for America from it's muslim enemies. Longtime terrorist, PLO leader, and Nobel Peace Prize winner Yassir Arafat /cried/ for the victims of 9/11 on international TV. The attack had only just happened, it was more successful than expected, NATO had invoked it's common-defense clause. And, nobody, not even the most pro-terrorist leader, wanted to catch an American nuke.
For a little while there, the world held it's breath, wondering what the 'Sleeping Giant' would do. Then, it finally responded to the devestating attack on it's own soil by dropping food on Afghanistan.
So they all went back to openly hating the Great Satan.

Palestine has territory, and it is a country even though America does not recognise it. Israel illegally dispossessed and occupied Palestine, therefore its illegitimacy renders it an illegal, apartheid, fascist state. Iran did hold a candle light vigil. So did the Palestinians. I'm not sure what the other two are, but I know Israel did not.

Remember when Iraq bombed Israel, because the US was fighting the Gulf War?
Remember seeing those bombs ripping into Israeli apartment building because the Saddam was hoping Israel would retaliate and bring the rest of the Middle East into conflagration?
We know Israel could have responded.
We know they didn't at the specific request of the US Government.
Many Israelis died in those raids.
Remember how we honored them with candlelight vigils....oh that's right, we didn't.

Iran held candlelight vigils after 9/11.
Hamas, in their own perverted way, condemned it.
Mommar Gadhafi of Libya was absolutely horrified, and despite his issues with the US, condemned such violence against it's people.
Syria was absolutely appalled, and called for the cooperation of all Muslim nations to eradicate terrorism.
Saddam eventually expressed sympathy.
And what did our "ally" Israel do?
THEY CELEBRATED.
If Iran wants to blow Israel off the face of the earth, LET THEM. It'd be the biggest favor ever done for humanity.

Many Iranians support America. The leadership does not. Then again you forgot to mention which countries were having parades celebrating the event.....

Iran, of course. Not so much the regime, but the vast majority of Iranians who loathe the gov't in power.
Now, how do you think those people would feel about a all-out American invasion of their country while they are struggling for democratic reforms within? Kind of defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it?
