The Jeter flip play was one of the greatest plays I have ever seen. The moments where the Yankees have won the World Series as well as Don Mattingly's home run in the 1995 A.L.D.S. are moments that make me cheer.

I cheer for alot of things that happen in a ML game. Wouldn't watch it if that weren't the case. However in my adult life there have been two instances where I actually screamed like a little kid.
In 1990 when the Reds won the world series after sweeping the A's
and in 2006 when Adam Dunn hit his walk off ultimate Grand Slam off of Wickman. (for those that don't know a ultimate slam is a down to the final out while trailing by three runs) basically a true walk off Grand Slam were all the runs were necessary to win and not just gravy.

I loved it when Boston came back from 3 games down and not only beat the Yankees but keep going to win 8 in a row to win their first World Series in some 84 years or so. When Varitek ran across the diamond and jumped into his pitchers arms, I cried. To see the pure jubilation on the fans faces was amazing. Can you imagine what it must have felt like for an older fan who had been around when they won the thing in 1918? Completely indescribable.

Ryan Howard hitting a walk off.
Manny hitting the walk off against the Angels.
Tug McGraw struck out Willie Wilson in game 6 of the 1980 World Series to seal the deal.
I forget the guys name but the third baseman for the Athletics made a dive then through it from his hinquarters and got the guy out at first.
And any great play made.

That single over Jeter's head in the 2001 World Series.
The flip play bugged me, because is was more of a bad play by Giambi than a good play by Jeter.

The comeback of the 04 Red Sox being down 0-3 to win with back to back night of Papi's game-ending homer, schilling's bloody sock in Game 6, and Damon's grand slam to win the pennant and first world series title since 1918.
Sox swept the cards in 4 straight to win the world series, just like this year.

In the 1960 World Series. The seventh game. Bottom of the ninth inning. Bill Mazeroski of the Pittsburgh Pirates hit a home run to win the game and series over the New York Yankees. In the three wins, the Yankees scored 16, 12, and 10 runs. The Pirates managed to win four, however.

I saw the first no hitter of the four thrown by Sandy Koufax against the Mets in 1962. Not only did I stand up and cheer, it was a big ole long cheer at that.
