Simply 800$ the airline pays you if the flight is 2 hours late.

Sounds good till a NY/LA ticket jumps to $2,500!

It would be an easy rule to get around. If a flight from Denver to Los Angeles takes an hour 40 minutes, you schedule it to leave at noon and arrive at 5 pm. Wow, got in three hours early. Is that great or what? Won't happen?

About a dozen years ago, maybe longer, NorthWest Airlines had the worst on-time record in the industry. They added 15 minutes to the end of each flight and quickly became the most on time airline.

Lastly, what plan is this?

We tried this for the duration of bill Clintons first time period. All we were given changed into corruption so we ended up with the Republicans most appropriate Congress and the abode for the first time in 40 years. Now they blew it and the shoe is on the different foot. supply it 2 years and the shoe will be decrease back on the different foot. Biden is already attempting to prepare voters for this. "I promise you, you all are going to be sitting right here a twelve months from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there interior the polls, why is the polling so down, why is this element so hard?"

Yes. Not a real solution, all that will happen is that we will be paying more for the exact same service... He could propose real changes, but he's not willing to do anything more than superficial changes that won't really have any effect until he is out of office - then it's the next president's job to deal with.

I think it's ridiculous that he should even address it. What they heck are taxpayers paying the FAA for?

Seems to me as if Bush has more pressing issues he should be taking care of.
