You are talking DEPO provera?

Depo could make you bleed for months at a time. It could also cause you to not have a period at all.

If you are talking provera to induce periods, then ignore my answer :)

Go talk to your doctor about any concerns you have.

i haven`t taken it for a uterus fibroid but my doctor suggested it a few years ago because i used to bleed a lot.my periods stopped completely and i have gained around one stone. after about 3 years my doc suggested i stopped with it as it can make your bones brittle (you should also be taking extra calcium) and since i`m in my late twenties, i`ll be apparently fine by the time i reach my thirties (my bones that is).however, every doctor says something else. i stopped having it and got an implant instead. never got my periods back though.good luck.
