Well I stepped on a hoe and the handle flew up and hit my nose and broke it. I am about as dingy as they come and son of a gun that thing hurts.

I think you should give the hoe a name like Mary or Sandra or whatever and when people ask you what happened to your nose you can say, "Well I stepped on this hoe Mary and it came up and broke my nose."

I think simply telling the story with a sense of humor shows that you can laugh at yourself. And it's only fools who cannot do that!
