when does the season start exactly? I'll be in the USA at the end of april. will I be able to see a game? I don't care that much about the team, I only wanna see a game. I'll be in NYC and Boston anyway so is there anyone who has been to the yankee stadium and can suggest me what tickets I should buy? do I need to buy the tickets long in advance?do they play on sunday?

regular season starts on April 8th, 2008. They host the Red Sox at home on April 17th. After that they are on the road until April 29th. They have a two game series against the Detroit Tigers which will be eaiser to get tickets. The Red Sox will host the Texas rangers at Fenway from April 18th to April 21st and the Anaheim Angles from April 22 to April 24th.

If you have a chance to go to Chicago you really need to go to Wrigley and see the Cubs play a day game.

You should see the Red Sox play at Fenway in Boston instead of going to Yankee Stadium. Boston and New York are huge rivals when it comes to baseball. But the Red Sox are a million times better than the Yankees. Tickets are expensive and hard to get, so take whatever seats you can find. But it's totally worth it. They Red Sox just won the world series and are the best team in baseball. The fans in Boston are really intense and into the game. It's so much fun. The Red Sox are the heart and soul of Boston and you can't get a real feel of the city without going to a baseball game. The season starts in late March in Japan! And the home opener is in early April. The best way for you to buy tickets is probably online, and get them way in advance. The more expensive the seats the better they are, but you'll have a good time where ever you sit.

Basball season starts officially on April 1st yoiu will be able to see a game and will have to buy tickets well in advance my suggestion would be to try to go see a NY Mets game as it will be next to impossible to get tickets to the Boston Red Sox or NY Yankees.
NY Yankees have won the most world series's in the history of baseball but the best team for past couple of years has been the Red Sox.

The season generally starts at the beginning of April. If you want to spend a good amount of money for the tickets, go 3rd base line or 1st base line. If you want to catch a home run, go left, right or center. Try to avoid any area with an overhang or below a deck. If you just want to be there, go for nosebleed seats. If the game is soldout you can always just move around until you find a place where the ushers arent checking the tickets and you like the view, I once paid $6 for upper bleacher seat at the Ballpark in Arlington and ended up on the 3rd base line the whole night. The season starts April 1st....They play on Sundays...Go to Fenway Park, don't go to Yankee Stadium. The Yankees have won the most but that's changing.

Ive never been to New York and eont plan on giong .. you should be able to see a game. at that time. I would say the Yankees have won the most..... but not no more..

Actually, the World Series just finished two weeks ago, so you will not be able to see a Major League game.
Also, the New York Yankees have won the most World Series.
