ITS NOT LIKE ITS REALLY THAT HARD TO BALANCE ON THE ROPE WHILE HOLDING ONTO SOMEONES HAND. NOW IF HE WALKED THE ROPES WITHOUT HOLDING ONTO SOMEONES HAND I WOULD BE IMPRESSED.

I agree with you and I have asked the question 100 times. Don't get me wrong, I love the Undertaker, but I don't get why the move is so "awesome." The opponent is clearly helping him keep his balance every time.

Here come the thumbs down.....

That move is hard. How about you try standing on a rope walking three feet than executing a perfect move at least 6 times a week.

When he holds the other superstars hand it doesn't do anything! The other superstar is in the ring more than 3 feet below him! If the other person was at level height or higher, than it would help, but since they aren't it doesn't help at all!

Oh and if you don't have a wrestling ring you can try Old School on a side of a bridge. You'll get a bonus because the railing is thicker than rope.

For a man his size, it is an impressive feat.

Back in the early-mid-90's was even more impressive because the ropes back then were not as tightly set up in the WWE, and balancing on anything outside the turnbuckle was still difficult.

I'm actually more impressed with Jinsei Shinzaki's/Hakushi's walk on the ropes.

It's a bit impressive and difficult for a big tall guy to walk on ropes, now if that was someone tiny like Rey Mysterio, then walking on ring ropes would be like a normal size person walking on a New York City sidewalk and I wouldn't be impressed at all..

My friend, it isn't as easy as you think. The ropes are too thin to actually balance on, yet The Undertaker does it. Ordinary people have a hard time balancing on slabs beside drains, yet here Taker is balancing on a piece on rope. The most impressive part is that The Undertaker isn't a small guy. He's a large human being who's tall and used to be fairly heavy. That makes it all the more difficuly yet again, there he is pulling it off perfectly. That's why he's The Undertaker, isn't he.

i am very impressed...he is a;most 7 foot tall and over 250lbs and can walk a 2 inch rope for 3 foot and do a move like he does is impressive as hell.....as far as him having hold of his opponents hand it is all part of the move....it does not help him maintain his balance at all cause his opponent is still 3 to 4 foot below him.....

I want to see King doing the old school!!...ooohhh yyyeeeeaaaahhhhh!!!

To tell you the truth maybe it's not that hard for Rob Van Dam's or HBK's size but King..we are talking about a guy 43 years old 6'10 and 300+ pounds. He is not a cruiserweight..
For Undertaker now it is plain and simply since he is doing this for so many years..but if you put Batista do it right now..you will laugh like hell by his fall!!
and if is isn't that much hard to be executed..it is now to see it and generally and entertaining and unique move...

I think what Elix Skipper does is harder!!! If U ever saw him. But I guess because he is a legend. And he has been doing it for so long!!! People where not use to seeing wrestlers walk on the rope and then Taker came and they where like wow. That is what I think!!!
