my husband has phobia in giving flowers because of the past incident he had with his ex-gf. I really want to receive flowers everyday, specially during our special days. I asked him to do that favor for me, but he just can't co'z he's afraid that the experience might happen again, How can I help him with that? so basically he can give me flowers?

If this is the worst problem in your marriage than I envy you. Honestly get over it....its just flowers. You can't make anyone get them for you, and really the flowers don't mean anything if you told him to get it for you. Just my opinion.

Ok, I'm confused. Your husband had a bad flower experience with an ex so he won't give you flowers??? Doesn't he know that everyone and every relationship is different. Just because it happened that way with his past relationship doesn't mean it is going to happen that way with you. Try to explain that to him and if that doesn't work order some flower catalogs and post pictures of flowers up every where. Maybe then he'll get the hint.

While every day is asking too much, for special days, just tell him you want flowers, and that his fears and feelings over the ex should have been gone before you got married or even started dating. If that doesn't work, just accept that he's not a flowers type guy. Ruining your marriage over flowers would be silly.

Maybe there is something else to send to you everyday and so it won't bring up any bad things. Maybe he can just give you the flowers on the very few special days during the year that way he can get into the habit again.

he is making excuses about his ex because he doesn't want to spend the money on you. Blaming her and saying he has a phobia about it is stupid.
If you have told him and he still doesn't do it, you should just be quiet about it and just buy your own flowers. If you keep focusing on it,it'll only start a fight and are flowers really worth a big ole fight. I don't think so. Focus on the other nice things he does for you.
Face it, he's not interested in flower-sending.

Tell him how you just love receiving flowers and if he tells you why he doesn't give them to you then you state that you are not his ex and that he needs to get over that situation. I for one think that he is just saying that in order to not have to go out and buy you any flowers. Does he do other things that are special?

I really don't get this question. I mean first of all what kind of issue would make someone not want to send flowers? Secondly, why would you want to get flowers every day? Don't you think that's a bit much. Maybe if you only wanted them on special occasions he would feel better about buying them for you.

Well, you've already told him, and it did not work. There's nothing we can tell you differently. But we can say this phobia nonsense is just an excuse. By the way, we are all VERY curious as to what his ex did with those flowers that so scarred his life.

Flowers delivered at 50 bucks a clip x 365 days a year..that comes to $18,250.00. Are you real, are you rich, are you that shallow? I think he'd do better spending it on strip clubs, or prostitutes. A wife can spend all of a man's money and NEVER have to give up sex..a prostitute enters a financial agreement, at least you get laid with a prostitute. A wife just keeps upping the ante' and really never has to do anything. Who wouldn't like that kind of a deal?

What could have possibly happened to him in the past that triggered a phobia of flowers ??????? sorry i have a hard time buying into that.
Nothing should stop a man from buying his wife flowers, hell he can simply call them in and have them delivered how does that raises up his phobia?
