How does everyone feel about Michel Therrien changing the Pens line combo's 2-3 times a game? I personally think its a terrible move. The Pens have a ton of young talent. I feel they should figure out some lines and stick with them. There may be some growing pains, but 2-3-4 years down the line, they could be talking about Sid-Malkin like Gretzky-Messier.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are the only two players from the same team to make the Top 10 list of leaders in point percentage for their team. They account for like 30% of the team's points. Sounds good, but it's NOT in the Pittsburgh Penguins' case.

Since no one else was doing anything with their lives, Michel Therrien had to seperate those two to get more offense. He had no problem with the Malkin-Crosby-Malone line (he said as much).

Now, when you say "figure out some lines"... how do you expect Therrien to do so? Pull names out of a hat? He's trying to figure out line combinations with good chemistry, that's why he's been messing with the combos. Also, Therrien has ALWAYS believed that hard work should be rewarded and slackers demoted. That's part of his coaching philosophy.

If you're a Pens fan... just hang in there!

Where are you Penguins fans getting this idea that it's a horrible move? ALL NHL coaches do this. Montreal recently broke up the Koivu-Higgins-Ryder (?) line because they weren't putting up points on the board. Coaches do that to win games and have winning seasons. Take some Ritalin and calm down; the sky's not falling.

Erica, Chicken Littles? Public suicides? It doesn't make any sense. What are you guys smoking down there? lol

Right now the Pens need help from other players ie Staal, Recchi, and so forth.
I'm hoping Letang gives them a spark tonight.
