i've never seen this movie. my mom told me about it. she said it was about slavery. she saw it many years ago on tv. does anyone know if they sell it anywere? and if they do, is it on DVD?

It's a really informational and poignant series every young adult should watch it and read the book. It's about Alex Haley's real ancestors that he traced back to Africa. Try Best Buy, Amazon.com, or Circuit City.
Check out "Queen" too by Alex Haley that series is about his great-great grandmother and it has Halle Berry and Jasmine Guy in it .

Since Harry was not brought up in a proper way, he goofed off with Ron most of the time instead of spending time with Hermione at Hogwarts. Ginny may have slipped Harry a love potion, or else Harry wouldn't be kissing her without thinking when she threw her arms around him.

It came out on dvd last year. My Kmart has it. Roots: The Next Generations just recently came out as well. :)
