People find it easy er to commit suicide than they do to finish what they and god started for them. we all have choices in our lives and its up to us to decide what we do with our lives's hopefully more people will think before they do something as stupid as committing suicide

Um... suicide is usually the result of major emotional turmoil... a state of mind in which the person is not thinking correctly. It has nothing to do with courage.
I have attempted suicide once before, and well, I failed, which is obvious 'cause I am here answering this question... so yes... at the time I was not in a stable state of mind. I was actually experiencing psychosis. I suppose not everyone who attempts suicide or succeeds has this happen to them... people want to kill that which causes them so much pain... and in a moment of recklessness, do something very foolish and ruin all their chances of experiencing fulfillment in their lives... okay, I think I am ranting now... and it's late... so yeah... good question though.

Well, my father who is 83 and unable to walk without falling is totally angry at himself for not being able to do the simplest of tasks. He told me he has given up. I don't think he will go through with it, but his spirit will die. It DOES take courage to commit suicide. I've attempted it three times. I suffer from clinical depression. I am still very depressed. I will not do it as long as my father is alive and my beloved friends and cat are alive. I will not leave my cat ( I never could have children, so my cat is sort of like my child.) My depression is so entrenched that sometimes I can hardly get out of bed. Oh, and did I mention I also suffer from epilepsy. Having a seizure is REALLY fun, I can tell you. But I have a strong spirit underneath all of this hell. There are MANY places I want to see and MANY things I want to do.

There is nothing courageous about suicide.
They do it because they are too weak to face the world
Besides that, suicide is the single most selfish act that is known to humans. Anyone that does this is only thinking about themselves and not about anyone else.

suicide isn't about courage, it's about desperation and depression. people who can't find any reason to keep going on take the only option they can see.

don't know. suicide is a very strange thing. i can never imagine what could bring someone to such a low point in their lives that they would rather die than face the world. it is pitiful. a couple of weeks ago, some man killed himself in the parking lot of a church nearby. not related to the church or anything. just passing through and decided to off himself there. its' sad.

It is not about courage it is about stopping the pain. It is selfish
.Those left behind to pick up the pieces are left with the greatest loss. Not only from losing a loved one but also with the feelings that we some who failed our friend and never get any closure.

Because one takes a lot of effort and time. The other although maybe painful is much faster and requires less effort.

It's easier to end problems than face them, it's human nature.
