First let me welcome you to what we like to call the United States. Clearly you're from out of town.

Are you kidding? You can't find a single historical event between those years? So Pearl Harbor wasn't really bombed, JFK not assasinated, a World War wasn't fought? Seriously, you look fairly literate what the heck is going on in schools that not a single event comes to mind? Not to mention all the bills passed - Seperate but Equal being abolished - you have made me very sad.

I am confident that if your teacher wants you discuss major events in that time period that he/she has provided some information on that period. This will, however, require you to read your assignment. The list of events people have given so far illustrates well why I would think this. No history teacher misses World War II.

I would look into my favorite website, which I have listed below. Use specific "key words" to inquire about specific events and time lines. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.

don't use wikipedia! people still go there for academic purposes?! it is NOT reliable!

there are SO many important events that happened in America between those years, i find it hard to believe that you actually tried to google it and found nothing.
