A relative recomended The Kite Runner, is it really good? should I read it? Any other recomendations?

It was a really incredible book. There are some controversial scenes that are pretty intense, but it is really fascinating to get a glimpse into a world that we know so little about. It really changes your perspective about the Afghan people and culture.
Completely recommended!

I just finished reading Too Late to Say Goodbye by Linwood barclay.....great thriller...kept me turning the pages.
The Kite Runner is good, but the author's other book A Thousand Splendid Suns is better.

It's certainly a well written book...but the subject matter is very grim, and I found myself disliking it. As to a recommendation for a book you might enjoy...sorry! Far too many to list!

the kite runner is very good.....if you are over 16, I would definately read it!!

I read it and it was really good
i also read A Thousand splended Suns by the same author and that was even better
