Not really sure I understand the entirety of your question, but as far as witches go, yes I have met some very nice witches, and some very nasty ones. They're human beings so they are just like anyone else.
As far as being close to GOD, that is a personal choice for the individual.
I don't believe everything I hear, for the most part, unless it concerns me I don't pay attention, or care to listen.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I can tell you that witchcraft has been around WAY longer than any organized religion... I'm not sure what your point is. I beleive in God, but men made up organized religions. Ya know what? We were all free to worship God any way we chose before that. There weren't so many rules.
However, my family was traced back to a Coven of witches in Germany... by that point it's just kind of in the blood, if you know what I mean. No, you probably don't. BUT they were all very, very nice people. Like me. :)
You don't seem very nice though. I'm sure many Christians will hate this post, but do a little research. History doesn't lie - and the church you attend doesn't have ALL the answers - they haven't been around that long.

I don't believe everything I hear, I research and/or evaluate the creditability of the person relaying the information. I also try to remain skeptical and objective about the information until I can verify it.
This is why I don't believe in any gods as there is no evidence of any existing.

It is impossible for someone not to be close to god....if god is all there is. (weather or not he believes in God, doesn't matter.)
Witches are fabulous and very nice.

I have been surrounded by witches for many years. And yes, the majority are really nice people.

Glinda, the Good Witch of the North was pretty nice. She helped Dorothy. I saw it with my kids just the other day.
