Good Lord.......
Bismark, with 8 15" guns on a brand new 1939 armored hull sank Hood, a 1919 battlecruiser with 8 15" guns, and with half the armor of the Bismark.
Bismark hit Hood with her third salvo at about 20,000 yards. The hit was in the magazines; Hood exploded and sank... 3 of 1565 sailors were rescued.
Prince of Wales accompanying Hood hit Bismark in her fuel tanks before having to discontinue the action.
Low on fuel Bismark headed for occupied France with the whole Royal Navy after her.
The day before reaching Luftwaffe air cover, she was hit in the rudders by a torpedo from the canvas and wood Swordfish torpedo bombers from Ark Royal.
Bismark was shot to pieces the next day, the tenth of her sortie, by the battleships King George V and Rodney.
Prince of Wales, an unlucky ship, was sunk 8 December 1941 by Japanese aircraft off Singapore.

Bismark sank the HMS Hood on her maiden voyage. It was a lucky shot that found a powder magazine. Battle was over almost as quickly as it began. 200 thousand pounds of cordite when up. The Hood literally disintegrated. Only a handful of the crew survived.
The Bismark was sunk only a few days later. In retaliation Churchill made destroying the Bismark a top priority

The RN Sank the Bismark. you're speaking of the Tirpitz - sunk with the aid of Lancasters from the two 9 and 617 Squadrons in November 1944 in Norway. Whoever gave the thumbs down: verify YOUR BLEEDING historical past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Bismark replaced into SUNK with the aid of the Royal army after that's guidance equipment replaced into broken with the aid of FLEET AIR ARM SWORDFISH BIPLANES released FROM HMS ARK ROYAL. THE RAF HAD JACK SH!T TO DO WITH IT.

the Bismark sank the Hood. her guns were larger and outnumbered those of the Hood and although the Hood put up a valiant fight, in the end she sank beneath the sea.

The Bismarck sank the Hood, which was an old 'fast battleship' which was once the pride of the fleet.
The Bismarck did NOT sink Prince of Wales, which was sunk by Japanese aircraft.
