How is this trolling? I can't control what other people write. If I was trolling for something I'd like to think I'd be able to come up with something better than that George Bush comment. I think I've just had my intelligence insulted.

Thank you Roadhazzards. I swear I really wasn't trolling asking this.

Steve I don't think you're trolling, seems like a straight forward question to me.

As a Conservative I think the Constitution is one of the greatest documents ever written and it has withstood the test of time. Unlike Al Gore and many Democrats I don't believe the Constitution is a "Living Document" subject to modern reinterpretations. As a Conservative I am bothered by those who claim to be Conservatives and yet choose to ignore the basic restrictions placed on government powers found in the document. I am equally offended by Liberals who are constantly choosing to redefine the meaning of words and Amendments found in the Constitution.

I used to think it was the ultimate rule of law in the United States. Then along came George W. Bush to prove me wrong.

Constitution means what it says. If it needs to be changed or amended, we have a process for that, it should not be up to individual un-elected judges to change it at their whim.

It is one of the most important documents ever written, & should be upheld & followed regardless of what party is in power.
Many millions of Americans have died defending it!

Trolling for "it's a GD piece of paper" responses? Those are always popular around here, as are many other baseless legends and myths.

Bush said it's just a damned piece of paper. I don't think so, but it's being shredded by the Bush/Cheney team.
