Why is everyone saying this is evil from the R&S section? I mean what if you are born with this gift and God gives you a sign that this is him sending you the visions? 6 months ago, I gave God my life back; before than, I didn't have any visions or anything of this sort. I'm really confused on this; seriously people.

Chloe, the people over in that section have a very narrow veiw of the world that was created by some pretty messed up people. They try to deny our true human heritage and our true gifts from God. Don't listen to them.

i have not 'given myself to god' but i come from a long line of strong intuition/visionaries...mainly in my dreams i fore tell happenings to my family...and happenings on a worldly scale. sometimes though even when fully awake, i will have visions into the lives of those that are infront of me, or that i touch...
it is not evil, it is from my gypsy back-ground...it has saved me and a few others from death or misery.
when i have a vision...if its in a dream...it becomes a full story line, and the important parts can be seen in color...such as when i had a dream of who my wife would be...or most recently the death of an uncle (suddenly)
if instead i have a vison while awake...i get an almost tunnel vision as if falling backwards...and a feeling of 'deja vu' i have been left rather embarrased a time or two, as i find myself not paying attention to anything else other than what i am seeing and have to be almost woken from this kind of trance.
and no..i do not use drugs and am perfectly mentally healthy.

High 5 to Bushrod for that answer and I `ll add that if all the people that claim to be Christians truly followed the word of God the Amish community would be much larger and there wouldn`t be any homeless people are starving children. Surely the so called Christians out number the downtrodden.

Intuition/discernment is not evil. Having visions is something like having a dream while you are awake. Your vision could be of you sitting down with Jesus and having a talk or of your seeing someone you have lost track of coming to see you. You might try meditation and prayer. If you need a vision, you will receive one.

Test the Spirits. Sometimes people deal with spirits of demons which foretell many things. Every spirit that comes from God loves Jesus and believes Jesus is the Christ and worships as such.
