$60? That's more than I would have expected a 13 year old to have. Anyway, for your mom you could buy a photo album and fill it with pictures of you and your siblings growing up. Or get her something that she collects (for example, my mom likes those snowman statues). For your dad I would suggest something to put on his desk, or you could make a gift basket of a favorite hobby, or just food. First pick up a basket and some tissue paper at a dollar store. Buy some stuff to put in it then just shred the tissue paper, put it in the basket and arrage the things in it. Easy!

I think $30 for each parent is quite a lot for someone your age. Last year, my 26 year old son and his wife didn't get me anything.

Maybe you could get them a night on the town. Get them tickets to some show or concert they'd like. If there are little kids, offer to baby sit when they go. If they like some cultural place, like the zoo or a museum, you could get them a membership.

The best present you can give them is your love. The second best is helping them get through all the stress and work of Christmas. Volunteer to wrap presents, help with the baking and cooking, PLEASE help with the cleaning. You could organize a special evening for the night you put up your tree. Make hot chocolate or cider, get some Christmas cookies, sing carols, watch A Christmas Story or A Christmas Carol, whatever suits your family.

What you spend is the least important part of your gift. What comes from your heart is the most.

I have the exact same problem and I'm 13 as well!... I live in Canada and down here we have a Tim Hortons (I understand that now America has bought it too, but the Canadian ones are wayyy better and full of heart)... and my mom, much like other Canadians is OBSESSED with it!... I might get her a 20$ gift certificate and then go to a store called Home Sense and maybe get her something there. I'll probably only spend around 30$ as well.

For my dad, I might get him a 20$ gift card at Golf Town because he loves to golf and then maybe a new moche pillow because he's very, very stressed. I'm hoping it will help him relax.

Find out what your parents like and then find gifts and stores around you that sell things connected to them. If you do find out wha they like but need help with ideas, you can contact me and I might be able to give you some.
Since your parents are stressed a lot, maybe take them to a spa or a place where the give massages.
I'm not sure what else they like, but I'm sure you'll think of something!

Good luck and Happy Holidays!

You are obviously a thoughtful and kind girl. As a parent I was always delighted with something that my children had made for me. It is these things that have lasted through the years and are still here as reminders of their younger years. For parents, money items are less important than the thoughtful ones. Go make, draw, craft something from your heart and that will be of greater value than something that lasts five minutes and is, after Chrissy, thrown out or eaten. Bless you. Papa G.

My parents loved when they received coupon books I used to make them. The catch is you actually have to do it
* take out trash for 1 week without being asked
*do dinner dishes 1 night
Things like that.
You can get them a gift certificate to dinner or a local movie rental place. Are they in to music? By them a cd they like. By them something relating to what they like to do. My sisters and I would fill up their stocking with simple things. My moms (lotions, pens, mini-notebooks, make-up brushes) my dad (batteries, socks, cologne) things you always need but never have around. GOOD LUCK!

If you really want to get them a gift, you can always do a gift card to a restaurant for a relaxing dinner for the two of them after Christmas.
Or, maybe you can make something for them? Like find a picture of them together or your whole family, get a cute frame or make a montage of pictures for them. That might be something super significant to them, and cost very little for you.

U should get them a gift card to eat dinner somewhere, so they can go have a date w/o any kids.

since there is so many of u guys, why not draw names and buy for who ever u get. that way everyone gets a gift, and no one has to buy for each person!

Maybe a gift card for them to go out to eat

Make a coupon book yourself, filled with like...one day of laundry service, one day of sweeping/dusting etc. Filled with stuff you can do around the house

Fix them a nice dinner.

Buy your mom some nice bath stuff...lotion, body wash or candles or nice stationary

Dad---things to go out in the yard for decoration...tools,

Tell these people to enjoy Christmas for the meaning and not for the business.

My rule is I never take Christmas seriously until the little barn layout is up and baby Jesus is watching over the family.

If your parents ever go out to eat you could get them gift certificates to their favorite restaurant. Or you could get a bunch of little things and fill their stockings and maybe include a gift certificate.
