The 8800GT is the best out of those 3 performance/buck wise. The 8800GT comes very close to the GTX performance wise on benchmarks and the GTX completely owns the ATI. The GT will also run cooler, takes up only one slot, sucks less power, and is a bit quieter than the other two. It's also cheaper. So the clear winner here is the 8800GT. But if you're leaning towards ATI, wait for the 3850 to come out; it'll be DX10.1, new architecture, cheaper, and good performance. Good luck.

Either 8800 GT or the 8800 GTS would be a great card, I would choose the cheaper of the two because both are very fast and in real world game play you would not see a difference. As for ATI they can't compete with the GeForce cards.

Nvidia is the leader right now, ATI cards do not perform as well.
Out of the 8800 GTS and the 8800GT, I personally would go with the GT, as it is based on a newer architecture.

nVidia 8800GT all the way, outperforms the GTS and the 2900XT, and is only about $260-$270 on EVGA's website. Can run up to $300, but its for a SSC version with 70Mhz overclock on core and a 200Mhz overclock on Mem, along with some other features. Check the link below.
