Your car may need some 'power steering' fluid.
Check with your maint. book that came with the car to see what kind. Or take it to an Auto Parts store & they can help you find out what kind it takes.

What kind of sound are you hearing? If it's a whine/hum sound it could just be your power steering pump. Check the fluid to make sure it is not low. If it's a click, click, click while you are rolling check the wheels for rubbing against the wheel wells.

When your wheel is turned all the way, it is normal to hear the whining sound from your pump.
If you hear the sound during the entire process of turning the wheel, your power steering fluid level is low or your pump is going bad.
You should check the fluid level just to be sure.

when that happened to me.. it was a squeaking sound and i needed a new power steering pump belt.
But how can anyone on here know for sure when 1) you haven't givin much detail and 2) know one has looked at it!!
Take it to a shop if youre that concerned!

Hmm, if it's a quiet noise, it probably isn't bad, maybe check it out if it continues.
